Weapon (spear), Uncommon

“We had made it out of the city walls. With all that armor, the paladin giving chase surely couldn’t catch up to us. A spear flew past Krag, who chuckled at the paladin’s bad aim. The next thing I remember was coming to on the charred ground. Next to Krag’s body, covered in crackling blue energy, stood the paladin.”

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. When you hit with an attack using this magical spear, the target takes an additional 1d4 lightning damage.

Bolt Of Lightning When you hit a target using a ranged weapon attack with this spear, you may choose to teleport to an unoccupied space adjacent to the target. You may also use this feature to target an unoccupied space up to 60 feet away from you, and teleport to that space. Just before you teleport, lightning strikes the space where the spear hit. Each creature within 10 feet of the targeted creature or space must make a constitution saving throw, taking 1d10 lightning damage and 2d10 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The thunder from the lightning bolt can be heard from up to 300 feet away. You can bring along objects as long as their weight doesn’t exceed what you can carry. You can also teleport one willing creature of your size or smaller who is carrying gear up to its carrying capacity. The creature must be within 5 feet of you when you use this feature and there must be an unoccupied space within 5 feet of your destination space for the creature to appear in; otherwise, the creature is left behind. This property can’t be used again until the next dawn.
