“The elf spun around, shocked at the sudden appearance of the bandit in the alleyway. However, before the would-be mugger made their demands, the elf blew onto the ring on their left hand, from which a cloud of bubbles shot forth and filled the alley. The elf made their getaway as the bandit frantically and futilely tried to swat the bubbles away.”
The ring has 6 charges for the following properties. It regains 1d6 expended charges at daily at dawn.
Bubble Cover. You can expend 1 charge as an action to cast fog cloud from the ring. When cast in this way, the spell creates a sphere of small bubbles instead of a sphere of fog. All of the spell’s effects stay the same.
Float Away. You can expend 2 charges as an action to cast levitate from the ring. When cast in this way, the spell’s effects are centered on a large bubble that is created around and carries the target. In addition to all of the spell’s other effects, it can also be moved by wind. When it does so, it moves at half the speed of the wind moving it. The bubble does not provide any cover or AC for the target it carries, and if it were to pop, several smaller bubbles spring forth from it and merge to reform the original bubble, without dropping the target.
Bubble Breathing. You can expend 3 charges as an action to cast water breathing from the ring. When cast in this way, bubbles form around the heads of each of the spell’s targets. If the bubble were to pop, several smaller bubbles spring forth from it and merge to reform the original bubble.
